What You Need to Make This Watermelon Banana Smoothie

- Kefir or Yogurt. For a dairy free version, I recommend coconut milk.
- Coconut extract – this helps give it that tropical burst.
- Watermelon – seedless and cut into cubed
- Banana – frozen
- Blender – I use this one.
- Drinking glass – I like to chill it in the freezer while I’m making my smoothie so that I have a nice, cold glass to add my smoothie to at the end!

What do you like to make with watermelon? I know my kids will eat an entire watermelon by itself! The biggest watermelon ever recorded weighed over 350lbs I think that a watermelon of that size might be enough for my “little” family. When making this smoothie the last time, I left a quarter of a watermelon on the table. I came back to find it completely eaten by my toddler. Everything besides the rind, even though it’s technically edible. It’s definitely treasured in our house!
