Hello! I’m Kay. I am a mom of 4 children and passionate about my job as a homemaker. I like to share easy recipes for you (and your kids!) to make at home, as well as crafts, homemaking and homesteading skills. Life is too busy and hectic for us to be stressed at home as well. Which is why I like to approach our home life as relaxed as possible.

My husband Vincent and I have been married 10 years. It has always been a dream of mine to have a large family and people often look at me strange when I announce that we “just” have 4 children. We dabble in homesteading and are just now learning how to integrate more of that lifestyle into our home. The title “homemaker” is perfect for my life. We do life at home. We homeschool, cook, clean, play and learn all from our home. I often have children by my side, helping on all the things I do to manage our home. I love to teach my children, I love for them to help and I especially love to watch them independently grow in their life skills! Kids are capable of so much if we just relax!
I grew up in the country and always envisioned myself raising children in the country as well. I spent a very short time in town with my husband before we moved back out to the country to continue growing our family.
I love learning about all things health and transitioning our home and lifestyles to be as health centered as possible. This certainly isn’t the American normal, but it is the normal I want to create for my children.
I have always been a DIYer and I still prefer to make things as opposed to going out and buying it. Even when it totally doesn’t make sense. The satisfaction of making something for myself just can’t be replaced by the convenience of 1 click buys. I enjoy sewing, crocheting, baking, cooking and pretty much any type of craft or art.
